Designed to hearken back to Acapulco's glory years in the 50s and 60s, the unique Hotel Basico combines retro color and ambiance with contempory lines and furnishings to create an unforgettable, hip Mexican experience.

The Basico's rooftop lounge area features comfortable sunbeds, lounge seating, hammocks, a full-service bar, and two plunge pools, all overlooking the magnificent Caribbean Sea. By day, this sunny deck provides hotel guests with the perfect tanning/relaxation area, and by night, a sophisticated hangout hotspot with a Latin music soundtrack.

Hotel Basico's breezy, second floor restaurant overlooks 5th avenue and offers a Gulf-coast seafood menu carefully designed by chefs imported from Veracruz. Room service until 11 pm allows for private, in-room meals for the amorous.

Hotel Basico is a small and exclusive hotel with only 15 rooms, so booking well in advance is recommended. Hotel Basico Playa is for adults only. Room rates start at 148 usd and depend on room type, season, number of people and the length of your stay.
